My name is Hannah, and I am part of the University of Manchester's 2016-17 PGCE cohort. I am following the School Direct route into teaching, training with the inner-city Teach Manchester Alliance.
I completed an undergraduate degree in History at Durham University in 2015, and spent the following year as a Teaching Assistant in EYFS, in a primary school in Trafford.
I am very enthusiastic about pursuing a career in primary teaching. I know that working as a teacher will be a fulfilling, exciting and challenging career, and offer me the opportunity to help young people to achieve, and be part of a supportive school community.
I know that I will be very happy as a teacher - I love working with children, I would like a varied, creative and challenging job, and I wish to help young people to grow and reach their full potential.
I am so excited to share my journey through this blog.
